Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos
About 10 jalapenos – cut in half and seeded
1 (8 oz) cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chives – chopped
10 slices of bacon – cut in half
In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, and chives. Fill jalapeno cavity. Wrap with bacon half and secure with toothpick.
Place on the grill (medium heat), filling side up and cook until slightly charred and tender, about 7 – 8 minutes.
True story – The last time I made these jalapenos, my dog got ahold of the plate before they were grilled and ate every last one of them. I was so mad! She never even got sick.
